Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport unfortunately lost both #3 and #62 in what was a huge accident two laps into race 4 at the Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint.
Taz Douglas came out second best of the two entries and is forced to withdraw from the race meeting.
“Obviously visibility was poor with the sun and how wet the track was.
I personally know how much work it involves trying to get them repaired and back on track, I just wish there was a better outcome for all the drivers.” said Douglas.
Alex Rullo who also sustained hefty damage to the car was in good spirits though shaken up.
“My car stopped really quickly, All I could see were brake lights,” Said Rullo.
14 cars of the 26 car field made it through the chaos however the race was suspended. The LDM crew will be working hard to get Rullo back out for race 5 tomorrow.
